Biography
Bennett joined Walker Jones after several years with Williams Mullen in Richmond, Virginia. Recognized for his versatility, Bennett serves as general outside counsel for small to mid-sized businesses, including nonprofits. Among other things, Bennett assists businesses with formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, and winding up operations. He also represents clients on various transactional matters involving real estate, finance, and commercial contracts. Additionally, Bennett has developed a niche practice helping farms implement strategies for liability mitigation and succession planning.
Outside the office, Bennett enjoys foraging with his wife and their English Shepherd, Leif, working with his father on their family's eighth-generation cattle farm, visiting his in-laws in Sweden, and playing soccer.
