Barbara J. Marmet
Barbara J. Marmet Since joining Walker Jones in 2014, Barbara Marmet has developed a reputation as an attorney who helps clients navigate life’s biggest challenges. She primarily works with clients seeking a divorce, or dealing with other family law issues, but she also does estate planning, estate administration, criminal and civil litigation.
Barbara knows that her clients are often dealing with legal issues that cannot be neatly summarized in a legal brief, involving difficult transitions and conflicts that affect them on a deeply personal level. Keeping this complexity in mind helps her fulfill her role as both a counselor to, and an advocate for, her clients. She breaks even the most complicated problems down into manageable parts, outlines available options, then helps her clients chart their path forward.
Barbara’s versatility and determination ensure her clients that she will not only help them find the most viable solution to even their most difficult problems, but will guide them through to a successful conclusion of the task at hand. Her clients quickly come to see that having Barbara at their side is a tremendous asset.
When she is not in the office, Barbara Marmet can often be found hiking and canoeing. So, it is probably not a coincidence that her clients describe her as an expert navigator and precise planner who can also jump in and take charge when disaster strikes.
