Michael T. Brown Joins Walker Jones, PC

Walker Jones, PC is pleased to announce that Michael Brown has joined the firm as a member and is managing Walker Jones’ new Rappahannock County office in Washington, Virginia. Mr. Brown brings 15 years of legal experience to his clients. His practice areas include: residential real estate; conservation easements; estate planning; probate administration; landlord and tenant law; and business law. Mr. Brown is a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals for Fauquier County. Recently he was appointed Commissioner of Accounts for the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County.

Born in Blacksburg, Virginia, Michael Brown graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BA in 1989. Following several years in the title insurance industry, he received his J.D. with highest honors from the George Mason University School of Law. He was admitted to the Virginia bar in 1999, to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia in 2000, and to the U.S. District Court, Western District of Virginia in 2002. Mr. Brown is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association.
